Senior Web Developer – TypeScript / Next.js / Headless CMS

Zearch is partnering with a high-growth API/SaaS Unicorn to find a Web Developer to bring the Web Experience to life. This person should also have strong CI/CD principles.

This person should have strong technical skills and a passion for building fast, scalable, and robust web experiences. This role is ideal for someone who feels at home writing TypeScript, working with modern frameworks like Next.js, and taking ownership of complex frontend and backend functionality.

You’ll be joining a high-performing team with a shared focus on delivering exceptional digital experiences — and while you’ll collaborate with designers and marketers, this is a developer-first role with real autonomy, engineering challenges, and room to lead technically.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and maintain high-performance web applications using TypeScript, React, and Next.js
• Integrate and customize headless CMS platforms (Contentstack experience is a strong plus)
• Optimize for speed, performance, SEO, accessibility, and cross-device compatibility
• Work with APIs and backend systems (Node.js or Python), including authentication and serverless functions
• Maintain and evolve DevOps pipelines, CI/CD processes, and deployment workflows
• Drive technical decisions on architecture, tooling, and infrastructure
• Lead A/B testing and analytics-driven UX improvements
• Debug issues, resolve technical blockers, and proactively refactor for maintainability

🧠 What You Bring

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS
• Experience integrating with and customizing headless CMS platforms (Contentstack preferred)
• Solid understanding of web performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices
• Comfortable working with backend tools — ideally Node.js or Python
• Familiarity with A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and data-driven decision making
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and confidence working in modern DevOps environments
• Strong grasp of version control, automated testing, and scalable architecture
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across functions, but driven to own technical outcomes
