Zearch are working with THE leader in the E-Learning / LMS SaaS space and hiring for an Associate/Junior Account Executive. – This role would be ideal for someone with 1 year closing experience or someone looking to journey in to a closing role after 2-3 years as a BDR/SDR.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Associate Account Executive to join the Higher Education sales team. In this role, you’ll work hand-in-hand with senior sales leaders to support full-cycle sales motions, conduct customer research, and help shape go-to-market strategies. It’s ideal for someone eager to learn, grow, and launch a long-term career in tech sales.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Account Executives and Senior Account Executives to support sales pipeline activity and opportunity management.
- Research and qualify prospective higher education clients and key decision-makers.
- Analyze historical customer data and insights to help shape engagement strategies.
- Create targeted outreach campaigns and support communications with both existing and new contacts.
- Help close deals directly with clients.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, ensuring alignment across multiple stakeholders.
- Assist with business case development, pricing proposals, and contract preparation.
- Process signed agreements and help facilitate the transition to onboarding.
- Participate in customer calls and product demo shadowing sessions to learn the full sales cycle.
- Keep CRM systems (Salesforce) clean and up-to-date with sales activities and deal progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline.
- Natural curiosity and a passion for learning—you’re someone who connects dots quickly and takes initiative.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills across multiple stakeholders and teams.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Bonus Experience
- 2 years in a Sales Development, Business Development, or similar commercial support role.
- Background working with higher education institutions or understanding of learning platforms (LMS/EdTech).
- Experience working in SaaS sales or supporting enterprise-level deal cycles.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce and modern sales enablement tools.
